BHS Dance Department

 This is a workout class. We workout every day and discuss what a healthy lifestyle entails. Participants receive their PE credit. There are no performance requirements.

 Designed for the beginner dancer. Dance I gives a basic overview of the major genres of dance. This class will help prepare anyone that is interested in trying out for Strutters (the dance team here at BHS). Participation in the annual craft fair and the end of the year dance recital is required.

 You must have passed Dance I to be in Dance II, etc. This class follows a timeline similar to Dance I, but students are exposed to the histories at a deeper level. Dance II, III students are challenged more both technically and choreographically. For the upper level dance classes there are 2 required performances: the Elk Strutter Craft Fair in December and the end of the year Dance Recital.
